Join Europe's leaders in dermato-venereology
The European Dermatology Forum EDF) is a non-profit dermatology organization dedicated to strengthening the impact of dermatology in the medical community, governmental forums and societies to improve healthcare requirements of dermatology and venereology patients in Europe. The organization is represented by the 200 most influential European key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in dermatology, working in renowned European hospitals and institutions. Membership is open to established leaders in the field and requires the proposal by two EDF members.

The two proposers must be from different European countries.
Either the proposer or the seconder may be from the candidate's country.
Active involvement in EDF activities is expected of every member - for example through the EDF Contributor Program.

The proposer and the seconder each provide a short supporting statement (e-mail or letter) that includes:
The applicant's standing in and contribution to dermatology, both nationally and internationally.
The applicant's expertise and added value to the EDF.

Positions held, awards, notable invited lectures, research grants, positions in national and international societies, honorary memberships, total number of PubMed articles, top 10 papers from the last 10 years, and H-index (Google Scholar)

Membership applications are assessed once per year
Board assessment
The EDF Board of Directors assesses all applications once per year
General Assembly
Supported applications are formally proposed and approved during the General Assembly

Applicants are officially notified in February
Stage 4 — February
EDF Contributor Program
Once your application has been approved, you will be asked to contribute to the EDF program by choosing at least one contribution package
